Project Overview
Reliable control for an industrial exhaust process
The project required a dependable control system that could monitor critical temperatures, coordinate exhaust fans, and interface with downstream process equipment. Operators also needed a clear way to view system status and control the process.
The completed solution combines PLC logic, an operator interface, electrical protection, field I/O, and equipment interlocks in a purpose-built control cabinet.
Control approach
The system brings monitoring, decisions, and equipment response into one coordinated automation workflow.
Monitor
Read temperature and process signals, display operating status, and make key conditions visible to the operator.
Control
Use Mitsubishi MELSEC-F PLC logic to manage operating modes, temperature protection, timing, and process interlocks.
Respond
Coordinate fans and connected process equipment while providing clear operator controls and alarm indication.
Technical Delivery
Integrated PLC control cabinet
The cabinet was assembled around a Mitsubishi FX3G-40M PLC and supporting I/O. Its electrical layout brings control, protection, switching, and field termination together for practical operation and maintenance.
- Mitsubishi MELSEC-F PLC control logic
- HMI and supervisory status display
- Temperature monitoring and protective control
- Exhaust fan and downstream equipment interlocks
- Electrical protection, relays, contactors, and labelled field wiring
- Structured control cabinet assembly and I/O integration
Inside the system
Control components and field connections are arranged to support clear operation, fault finding, and future servicing.
